1. Magnetic sorting.

Magnetic sorting mainly uses a magnetic sorting machine combined with a conveyor belt to complete the operation. This equipment technology is mainly used to separate scrap steel and other magnetic materials from scrap aluminum. Iron is the main harmful element in recycled aluminum, and it must be removed to the greatest extent before smelting. For scrap aluminum, magnetic separation is the most effective technology for separating scrap steel. The magnetic separation method has a simple process, low investment, obvious effects, and is easy to be adopted. According to different magnetic sources, magnetic separation can be divided into two categories: permanent magnet and electromagnetic. Eddy current separation has a large investment, but has high separation efficiency. It can separate aluminum waste from non-metals such as plastics, glass, rubber, etc., and can also separate aluminum from other non-ferrous metals such as copper, magnesium, zinc, etc. The separation efficiency is not high for small particles below 10mm, because the Loren magnetic force generated by these small particles is very small, making it difficult to separate them.
